You keep translating everything in your head…

Your brain freezes when it’s time to speak, and you miss the moment. This book teaches vocabulary visually and in context, so you start thinking in Dutch instead of translating.

Yasmine, the founder of Learn Dutch with Yas, leaning against a door opening and holding a Dutch vocabulary book

Welcome, I'm Yas!

What’s better than a certified teacher? One who’s been in your shoes.

I had to learn French in school and I hated it. Years later, I moved to France and tried learning the language again as an adult. I was working full-time, feeling overwhelmed, and constantly embarrassed that I still couldn’t speak fluently.

I went through all the struggles you're going through now:

  • Trying Duolingo.
  • Stressing about grammar.
  • Memorizing rules that natives don’t even use.
  • And still not being able to hold a conversation.

After 11 years of studying French the “traditional” way, I still couldn’t confidently talk to native speakers. I felt frustrated, behind, and like something was wrong with me.

That's why I created the Dutch Mastery Academy, so you wouldn't have to go through what I did.

And guess what? It worked.
I’ve now helped hundreds of expats learn Dutch, and even got featured in the Gazet van Antwerpen for my work.

Which Vocabulary book should I pick?
The A1-A2 book is for the students who have just started out learning Dutch. We cover 5000 Dutch words which is what you need to reach an A2 level.

The advanced vocabulary book is for those who have an A2 or B1 level. These are words that for example our conversation class students with a B1/2 level still wanted to learn.

The verb book is perfect for those who want to improve their knowledge of Dutch verbs (normal - reflexive - separable verbs). In the book we cover the different tenses in Dutch, and go over more than 5000 Dutch verbs. We also put each verb in a sentence so you know exactly in which context you can use the verb.

I'd recommend getting the bundle if you're a beginner students! If your an A2-B2 student the combination of the advanced book, and verb book is what you need!
