Your Dutch is ‘very good’… but not native.

You know the rules. You understand almost everything. But when it’s your turn to speak, it's still not fluent. Now it’s time to make your Dutch flow.

You’ve done the courses.

You’re fluent-ish, but not natural yet.

You speak Dutch, but not like a local (yet).
At this level, you understand almost everything. You can join conversations, but it doesn’t always feel smooth. You miss small details, you second-guess grammar, or you search for words.

Fluency isn’t something you “finish.” Just like going to the gym, it’s about consistent training: every week polishing your grammar, vocabulary, listening, and speaking until Dutch feels natural.

You’re stuck in that “almost fluent” zone:

  • You join conversations, but it’s obvious you’re not native.
  • You can express yourself, but finding the right words is still hard.
  • You understand your colleagues, but they keep switching to English.
  • You know how far you’ve come… but it still doesn’t feel like fluency.

Imagine this instead:

  • You’re in a meeting, speaking Dutch without switching to English.
  • You meet someone new and chat easily without panic or pause.
  • You’re past the stage of doubting every grammar rule.
  • You explain your ideas with the right words, without translating in your head.
  • You join group conversations without rehearsing in your head.
  • You even make jokes… in Dutch.

That’s what you'll reach with the Dutch Mastery Academy

We don’t stop at the theory.
We help you break the barrier and speak, with confidence, flow, and ease.

Nodding 'YES' to these...?!

You understand Dutch well, but when you speak, it still feels a little clumsy. Like the last “small” details are missing.

You’re done with endless grammar rules, but you do want to polish grammar in a way that actually improves your speaking.

You want to go beyond textbooks and practice real-life Dutch: conversations, listening, vocabulary you’ll actually use.

You don’t want to plateau. You want to keep growing until Dutch feels natural, fluent, and confident.

Want to be able to speak Dutch like Max?

Imagine... you speak Dutch as if it's your mother tongue!

You're done searching for words, second-guessing grammar, and everyone can hear you’re not native. You want to sound like Maxine.

What makes B2 different?

At B2, it’s no longer about memorizing rules, textbook exercises, . It’s about polishing the last details that make you sound fluent.

Every week, you’ll dive into a new theme, sometimes grammar, sometimes vocabulary, sometimes conversation or listening. But always with one goal: to use Dutch in real-life situations, with confidence and flow.

Because you want to stop translating, hesitating, holding back,...
You want to live in Dutch, joke with friends, speak up in meetings, feel natural in every conversation.

That’s what the B2 Membership is built for.

Weekly Conversations

In our B2+ classes, we meet every week to dive into a new topic: grammar, vocabulary, or conversation. The themes are flexible: you can even suggest a subject you’d like us to cover.

Each class starts with a short review of the topic. After that, it’s all about speaking practice in small groups. Your teacher will join in, listen, and give you personal feedback so you know exactly how to improve.

📅 When? Tuesdays from 20:00–21:00 CET and Thursdays from 19:00–20:00 CET.
You’re free to join both sessions or just pick one, the same theme is covered in each.

Why is it different?

In other courses, you still get the same old stuff: textbooks, fill-in-the-blank drills, awkward dialogues… To me, that sounds like absolute horror. That’s not how you start sounding like a native.

What you really need are practice hours, real speaking time where you actually use Dutch. That’s what we focus on. And guess what? Our classes are fun. Think of it as your one hour a week that’s just for you, to practice, to improve, and to actually enjoy learning Dutch.

Video Course & Community Platform

In our B2+ level, you’ll get access to our video course that works on all four skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking. But don’t worry, no boring, outdated texts or police reports from a dusty radio.

Instead, you’ll read real news articles, listen to podcasts, and write about topics you’ll actually use in daily life. That way, you’ll expand your vocabulary and start using Dutch naturally, every single day.

Need feedback? Got questions?

You’ll get access to our own platform, where everything you need is in one place. You’ll also have direct contact with your Dutch teacher(s), so whenever you have a question or want feedback, just drop it on the platform and we’ll be there to help.

How long will it take to finish the video course?

There are 13 modules. In theory, you could finish one per week, but in reality, it usually takes a bit longer. That’s why our B2+ course is a membership: you can keep studying for as long as you want, until you feel confident and ready.

How would you feel when...

Strangers won’t notice Dutch isn’t your first language.

Think it’s impossible? Think again.
It will take time and practice, but are you ready to invest that?

Imagine never feeling annoyed again when Dutchies switch to English.
Imagine people not asking “Where are you from?” the moment you start talking.
Imagine not hearing “Wow, your Dutch is very good”, because compliments like that only remind you that you don’t sound native yet.

Right now, you still sound like someone who’s learning Dutch. But with the right training, you can sound like someone who actually belongs.

Welcome, I'm Yas!

What’s better than a certified teacher? One who’s been in your shoes.

I had to learn French in school and I hated it. Years later, I moved to France and tried learning the language again as an adult. I was working full-time, feeling overwhelmed, and constantly embarrassed that I still couldn’t speak fluently.

I went through all the struggles you're going through now:

  • Trying Duolingo.
  • Stressing about grammar.
  • Memorizing rules that natives don’t even use.
  • And still not being able to hold a conversation.

After 11 years of studying French the “traditional” way, I still couldn’t confidently talk to native speakers. I felt frustrated, behind, and like something was wrong with me.

That's why I created the Dutch Mastery Academy, so you wouldn't have to go through what I did.

And guess what? It worked.
I’ve now helped hundreds of expats learn Dutch, and even got featured in the Gazet van Antwerpen for my work.

Questions about our conversation classes?

I’m a bit hesitant to invest in a Dutch course
What is the reason you want to learn Dutch? To be able to speak with the family of your partner? Or find a better job? Or so your kids won’t have a secret language anymore. Right? So if you believe learning how to speak Dutch is going to help you in life. Then signing up for our course is the right thing to do. because that’s exactly what we’ll help you with!
What if I cannot attend every week?
Missing one or two classes isn’t a big problem. We record all the classes so you can rewatch it afterwards. I wouldn’t postpone learning Dutch, and taking ACTION because you cannot be there for one or two classes. You can always ask questions in the group chat or next class when you didn’t understand a certain part of the class.
I’m afraid I can’t keep up with the other students
That's alright! In the classes we always try to make sure that everyone can follow the class. If you're level is too high or too low we cans witch you to another level. If that ends up being too difficult too we can have a look at private classes. Or you can also already chose to go for private classes straight away. You can find more information about our private classes via this page.
Can I have Private classes too?
I understand that! That's why from now on you can join the Dutch Mastery Academy together with private classes.
