Real stories from students like you!

Hey Yasmine!

Oleksiy Dlugokanskyy

Hello Yasmine. My dutch is getting better in writing, reading and grammatica.

Renée Karanja Struwe

Hey Yasmine, All going well so far the course is structured perfectly.

Crystal Perry

Hello Yasmine!! I'm happy with the course and progressing.

Ana Maria Lopez Pedrajas

Hallo Yasmine, Ik will je graag iets vertellen.

Isa schlolaut

I see me improving in grammar, speaking, and writing.

Seowoo Kim

Good morning Yasmine! It's been going well, I'm generally satisfied with my progress and I like the classes. I wish I had more time to practice, but I try 🙂

Daniel Varga

It's a very helpful learning program I wish I knew it the moment I came to Belgium. Keep the good work!

Ali Alhassanat

Hi Yasmine, I really like your course. It is so full with different methods and ways of learning.

Ljiljana Ban

I feel like my dutch improved in the sense of that I know can have more spontaneous conversations. I actually just had a meeting with my mutualiteit completely in dutch and I always try dutch first now, as opposed to before.

Synnøve Saugen

The lesson topics are interesting and the system is innovative and well-structured, although it requires dedication and discipline. Your co-teacher Laura is a very kind and skilled teacher who corrects our mistakes carefully. For me, the strong focus on speaking and pronunciation is especially valuable.

Lourdes Costa

My Dutch has really improved, I’m starting to think in Dutch and I’m very happy about that. I practice every day by speaking to myself, writing, and listening to podcasts, videos, and music. I follow the lessons regularly and I’m using DeepL and Google Translate less and less, which feels great. Even though I still make mistakes, I clearly see progress.

Tired of struggling to learn Dutch alone?

… without wondering what to learn next.

You’re motivated to learn Dutch, but need flexibility

You’re busy, your schedule changes a lot, or you live in a different time zone. A live class just doesn’t work for you right now. But you still want guidance and structure to reach your goals.

You’re not seeing progress

You’ve tried apps, random YouTube videos, or grammar books. But it feels like a puzzle without the picture. You want one clear path forward. A clear structure is what you need.

You want structure without the pressure

You don’t want to figure it all out yourself. But you also don’t want to feel behind because you missed a class or didn’t do your homework on time. You want to go at your own pace with the right support.

You want to actually use your Dutch.

Not just read it. Not just study it. You want to speak Dutch with confidence, understand what people are saying, and feel good about your progress.

How many times have you promised yourself...

"This time I’ll master Dutch," only to give up a few weeks later? How many hours have you wasted trying to learn on your own, only to feel frustrated? You start to wonder if it’s even possible for you. You feel like you’re stuck, always starting over, never truly making progress.

It’s not your fault. You’ve been trying to do it alone, with no structure, no feedback, and no one to cheer you on.

You probably recognize this: You start strong with Duolingo, podcasts, or Dutch TV. But then life happens. You get busy, skip a few days…and suddenly you're back at square one. What you worked so hard to learn? Gone. And you're stuck in that same cycle, starting over. Again.

Now, imagine things are different:

  • You overhear strangers chatting in Dutch and understand every word, feeling proud and confident.
  • You confidently order coffee, ask directions, or chat with your neighbors. Without second-guessing every word.
  • You’re at a party, laughing in Dutch, fully part of the group, not just listening from the sidelines.

That’s the shift Dutch Mastery Academy creates. No more unfinished courses. No more “maybe next time.”

This is where it finally clicks.

Most self-study fails because…

  • You don’t know what to study each week

  • There's no structure — just a pile of videos

  • You lose motivation after a few lessons

  • You forget where you left off and give up

  • You feel overwhelmed trying to figure it out alone

This course is different because…

  • You follow a clear weekly roadmap

  • You can mark lessons as ‘done’ and track your progress

  • Each explanation is in clear, simple Dutch (with visuals)

  • You can learn when you want — no live sessions needed

  • You’ll stay consistent (even when life gets busy)

How would it feel …

… to finally have a clear structure and all your learning materials in one place — ready on your computer, phone, or tablet — so you can learn Dutch step-by-step at your own pace, without ever wondering what to study next?

Imagine this: You’ve got 30 minutes, you open your laptop, phone, or tablet, and instead of guessing what to do…

  • You dive straight into a lesson that fits perfectly into your weekly plan.
  • You check off what you’ve completed.
  • You feel progress. Real progress.

Unlike most self-paced courses that just throw a bunch of videos at you and leave you to figure it out, this course guides you week-by-week. You always know exactly what to study and when, even if your schedule changes.

This kind of clarity makes it easier to stay consistent. Even after the initial motivation fades. You’re no longer starting over every week or feeling guilty for falling behind. You're learning Dutch in a way that fits your life and that consistency brings peace, confidence, and results.

In just three months, you’ll be ready for the next level. Finally, a self-paced course that doesn’t feel lonely.

By the end of Dutch Mastery Academy, you'll be able to ...

  • Have conversations with Dutch natives without feeling stressed
  • Have the confidence to speak Dutch, even if you're still making a mistake or two.
  • Crack a joke in Dutch so everyone finally knows how funny you actually are!

And most importantly you'll feel at home in your new home country.

Don’t think it’s possible to learn Dutch without live classes?

These students thought the same — until they started this course:

I'm already reading books and having small conversations only after 2 months of studying with Yasmine.

Welcome, I'm Yas!

What’s better than a certified teacher? One who’s been in your shoes.

I had to learn French in school and I hated it. Years later, I moved to France and tried learning the language again as an adult. I was working full-time, feeling overwhelmed, and constantly embarrassed that I still couldn’t speak fluently.

I went through all the struggles you're going through now:

  • Trying Duolingo.
  • Stressing about grammar.
  • Memorizing rules that natives don’t even use.
  • And still not being able to hold a conversation.

After 11 years of studying French the “traditional” way, I still couldn’t confidently talk to native speakers. I felt frustrated, behind, and like something was wrong with me.

That's why I created the Dutch Mastery Academy, so you wouldn't have to go through what I did.

And guess what? It worked.
I’ve now helped hundreds of expats learn Dutch, and even got featured in the Gazet van Antwerpen for my work.

So if you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or like maybe learning Dutch just isn’t for you — I get it. I’ve been there. But I promise you: there’s a better way. 💚

Start-up (A0-A2)

(P.S. Not sure which level to join? Once you've signed up you can still switch levels - just send a message to Yas, and she'll help you!)

What you'll be learning ⬇️

In the start-up part of DMA, we will create a good Dutch foundation. By practicing the present and future tense, creating different sentences, and introducing new vocabulary, you will be able to join easy conversations.

Ready to finally have small talk with you Dutch neighbor? (without them switching to English?)

Test your level! ✅

In week 13 you will complete a couple of exercises on which you'll get personal feedback from Yasmine!

By filling in this test, Yasmine can give you personalized feedback about what you'll have to revise, and if you're ready for the A2 part!

Scale-up (A2-B1)

The A2 level is perfect for students who have followed a Dutch course before, or studied by yourself with an A1 book. Niveau (1.1-1.2)

(P.S. Not sure which level to join? Once you've signed up you can still switch levels - just send a message to Yas, and she'll help you!)

What you'll be learning ⬇️

In the scale-up part, you are going to go from basic sentences to advanced. You will learn how to express more complex thoughts, and talk about the past. We'll cover topics like separable verbs, and modal particles.

Lunch with your Dutch colleagues will be a lot of fun! You'll be ready to speak Dutch with them!

Test your level! ✅

In week 13 you will complete a couple of exercises on which you'll get personal feedback from Yasmine!

By filling in this test, Yasmine can give you personalized feedback about what you'll have to revise, and if you're ready for the B1 part!

Level-Up (B1-B2)

You can follow this level if you have followed Dutch courses until a B1 level or have reached niveau 2.2.

(P.S. Not sure which level to join? Once you've signed up you can still switch levels - just send a message to Yas, and she'll help you!)

What you'll be learning ⬇️

In the level-up part of DMA, we start working on your real-life Dutch.

At this level, the goal is no longer to perfect grammar in isolation or to memorize endless vocabulary without using it. You’ll learn Dutch through real-life materials, real contexts, and proper feedback; so the language actually sticks.

Every week, you’ll get tasks that take about 2–3 hours to complete. Not enough time? No problem, you can spread the tasks over two weeks and go at your own pace.

You’ll work both actively and passively on your Dutch: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. We’ll cover a wide range of topics so you can broaden your vocabulary, express your opinions, and talk about more than just the weather.

No more small talk. Time to start speaking real Dutch with confidence.

Test your level! ✅

Every week, you can upload your tasks to our community platform and receive personal feedback from Yas.

You’ll actively improve your reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills, at your own rhythm, with guidance from a real Dutch teacher who helps you turn input into confident output.

Mastery (B2-C1)

You can follow this level if you have followed Dutch courses until a B2 level or have reached niveau 3.1.

(P.S. Not sure which level to join? Once you've signed up you can still switch levels - just send a message to Yas, and she'll help you!)

What you'll be learning ⬇️

In the mastery part of DMA, we build directly on everything you learned in the B1–B2 level, but with more depth, complexity, and precision.

You’ll keep working with real-life materials and real contexts, but the tasks become more challenging. You’ll learn to express opinions, emotions, and nuance, and refine your sentence structure, vocabulary, and natural flow, so your Dutch sounds confident and authentic.

This is where you stop translating in your head and start thinking in Dutch.

Every week, you’ll receive advanced tasks that take about 2–3 hours to complete (or spread them over two weeks if needed). You’ll continue working actively and passively on your listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills, with a stronger focus on accuracy and fluency.

No more “good enough” Dutch. Time to sound truly fluent.

Test your level! ✅

Every week, you can upload your tasks to our community platform and receive personal feedback from Yas.

You’ll continue sharpening your reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills, with targeted feedback that helps you move from strong B2 toward confident C1 fluency.
