What you will learn...

Dutch people speak too fast for me.

You hear slow, clear Dutch, so your ears finally understand the rhythm, sounds, and speed. This makes real Dutch conversations feel much easier.

I know the words… but I can't speak.

When you hear real Dutch again and again, your brain copies the sentence patterns and suddenly speaking feels less scary and more automatic.

I forget new vocabulary immediately.

You learn words inside a real story, + with visuals. This is how your brain remembers faster, the words become connected to a situation, not a list.

I don’t have time to study every day.

Just press play. Listen while walking, cooking, cleaning, commuting.
You learn Dutch without opening a book.

This is the first time Dutch feels easy. Listening to the story and reading the text helped me understand words I already knew but never recognised when people said them. Such a big difference!

Leandro

I love the audiobook! I understand so much more now because I hear the sentences in a natural way. Thank you Max!

Mina

The audiobook made me feel less scared of Dutch. Even when I didn’t understand everything, the story kept me engaged and I noticed I understood more each time. Amazing method!

Sofia

This is exactly what I needed. I always struggled with listening… but with this story, I finally understand why. The audio + exercises really helped me learn in a more natural way.

Ruth

I listen every day on my way to work. My Dutch colleagues told me I speak better already and I didn’t even “study,” I just listened to the story. I’m so happy!

Ibrahim

The vocabulary list + audio together? Game changer. I could finally connect the words I know with the words I hear. Dutch is starting to feel more familiar.

Alicia

I never understood real Dutch people… But after listening to your story, I suddenly recognise words in conversations. I didn’t know it could happen this fast. Dank je wel Max!

Why Listening to Stories Makes Dutch Finally “Click

Most learners can recognise Dutch words when they read… but everything changes the moment someone speaks. You hear sounds, but you can’t separate the words. You know the vocabulary, but you can’t connect it fast enough.

This happens because your brain doesn’t have enough familiar patterns yet.
To understand Dutch in real life, your brain needs repeated exposure to the sounds, the rhythm, and the sentence structure, not more grammar rules.

Even if you understand only a few words in a story, your brain is already doing the work:
it starts recognizing endings, sound combinations, and sentence shapes.
It makes every new sentence easier to understand.

This is where we do things differently!

Instead of forcing you to speak before your brain is ready, we train the skills that actually lead to fluency: hearing real Dutch in context, recognizing what comes next, and slowly making Dutch feel familiar.

When you listen AND read at the same time, your brain starts to see the patterns of Dutch, where words begin and end, how sounds connect, which words repeat, and what usually comes next.

And once the language sits comfortably in your brain, speaking becomes so much easier and less stressful. Why keep struggling the hard way?

Welcome, I'm Max, Yas' sister!

I’m a certified teacher with over 5 years of experience helping young adults learn Dutch fast so they can join the Belgian school system without any problems. And trust me… even for young adults, learning a language isn’t easy.

But here’s something most people don’t know:
right now, I’m in the same position as you.

I recently moved to Colombia, and from the moment I arrived… I stopped speaking English completely. New country, new language, new life.

So how did I prepare myself before moving here?

I listened. A lot.
Hours and hours of Spanish podcasts, while cooking, cleaning, walking, anything.

And the crazy part? When I landed in Colombia… I could already speak basic Spanish. Not because I studied… but because I had been listening.

That’s when it hit me:
Step 1 of learning any language is INPUT. Your brain needs to hear the language before it can use it.

And that’s exactly why I created this audiobook, and why I’m building the full audiobook series.

So you can learn Dutch the same natural way I learned Spanish: by listening, understanding, and letting the language become familiar… before ever feeling pressure to speak.
