Ready to improve ALL your Dutch skills?
Read more, improve your speaking skills.

Is this you...

Are you ready to read more Dutch books?
Did you know that reading books is one of the best ways to learn a language? You probably do, but finding the motivation to start—and stick with it—can be tough.
That’s why we created the Dutch Book Club!
Imagine reading a Dutch book, discovering new words, and meeting bi-weekly to discuss your experiences with fellow Dutch learners. That’s exactly what we’ll do—learn together in a fun and engaging way!

This month we will read...
P.S. The book is not included in the Book club subscription. You have to purchase it by yourself so you can decide in which format you prefer to read the book. Or you can go to your local library and get it there for free!

The Schedule of the BookClub:
We will meet every other Wednesday at 6pm - 7pm30 CET - P.S. You will only need to have read the first 30 pages before the first meeting!
These are the dates:
2nd of April at 6pm-7pm30
16th of April at 6pm-7pm30
30th of April at 6pm-7pm30
14th of May at 6pm-7pm30
28/05 of May at 6pm-7pm30
11th of June at 6pm-7pm30
P.S. Don't worry if you miss one or two meetings, the most important part is that you're working on your Dutch!

Ready to read Dutch Books?
Not sure yet if reading Dutch books is your thing? 📚 ✨ Join me in reading this one, and experience how fun and rewarding it is to improve your Dutch while diving into a new story! 🚀 📖

Welcome, I'm Yas!
What is better than a certified teacher? One that has been in your shoes. Did you know that Yas had to learn French in high school, and she HATED it.
That's why she created the Dutch Mastery Academy.
So you wouldn't have to feel the same way as her. When Yas was an expat in France she went through all the struggles you are going through. Learning a new language as an adult, working in a new country, adapting, finding new friends...
And that's not it... Yas also experienced what it feels like to learn a language the old-school way... Yes, the painful process of learning grammar rules by heart, filling in endless exercises, and not even learning the language natives are using!
Which left her FRUSTRATED, because after studying for 11 years she couldn't even hold a conversation with a native.
That's why she created the Dutch Mastery Academy!
So you wouldn't have to feel the same way as Yas did.
For who is our Dutch bookclub?

Higher Level Dutch
To join the Dutch Book Club, we need you to have a higher level. Without this foundation, reading the books and keeping up for the bi-weekly discussions might be quite challenging.
Don't know if you have the right level? Plan a quick 10 min call with me to discuss your current level!

Don’t worry—if you’re not there yet, we’re here to help you get ready! You can join our A0-B1+ group classes to reach this level.

For Book-Loving Students
Do you love reading but find Dutch books too challenging? Our Dutch Book Club is perfect for you! We provide structure, motivation, and support to guide you through Dutch books, helping you understand difficult words and enjoy reading with confidence.

Speak about what you read!
In our Dutch Book Club, we meet bi-weekly, giving you the opportunity to practice speaking Dutch with other expats in small breakout rooms. You’ll receive a list of questions about the book to guide the discussion, while also having the chance to start your own conversations. It’s the perfect way to improve your speaking skills consistently!
